Jared Niedermeyer Receives the Highest FFA Degree

Jared Niedermeyer received the American FFA Degree at the 2007 National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, IN., on Saturday, October 27. It is the highest degree awarded by the National FFA Organization and recognizes Jaredâs demonstrated leadership abilities and outstanding achievements in agricultural business, production, processing and service programs. Less than one in 200 FFA members advance through their local chapter and state FFA degree programs to earn this national degree. Jared, the son/daughter of Robert and Debbie Niedermeyer, is currently attending Southeast Community College in Beatrice where he is majoring in Diversified Agriculture. He is a former member of the Nemaha Valley FFA Chapter and a current member of the Johnson County Central FFA Chapter. His agricultural education instructor and FFA advisor is Mrs. Christy Hodges. Jared received a gold American FFA Degree key and a certificate to commemorate the achievement. The recognition program is sponsored by BASF, Case IH, The Farm Credit System and Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. as a special project of the National FFA Foundation.
