It was Quality not Quantity at District FFA
Johnson County Central qualifies two for State!

On Tuesday January 22, 2008 Johnson County Central FFA entered
only four competition areas. Two of the four will be represented by
Johnson County Central FFA. Megan Bottcher received 2nd place in
Extemporaneous Speaking and Abby Scheer received 2nd place in Job
Interview to earn them rights to compete at the State FFA
Convention in Lincoln on April 2nd-4th.
Others competing at District FFA Leadership skills events were
Johnny Jiang in
Sr. Public speaking; and the team of Megan Weber, Kali Effken, Kate
Wellensiek, and Katie Hupka in Ag Demonstration. Johnny received
3rd place with his speech entitled âEthanol. Solution or Quick
Fix?â. The Ag Demo came in with a respectable 6th place with their
comparison between Smart Chicken and Tyson Chicken.
