On Wednesday March, 5th I was able to attend the ESU 4 business teachers in-service talking about the use of Apple’s iPod in the classroom. Though this in-service Mrs. Huskey and I each received a iPod Classic to use in our classrooms. There are many interesting uses for your iPods other then just listening to music. With the recorder attachment tests can be read into the iPod and then given to students, freeing up teachers and aids to help other students. Students can also use pod casting to expand knowledge of a subject.
With this I have decided to put out a weekly pod cast, AKA internet radio show, each week detailing the news of the week at JCC Middle School, interviews with teachers and students etc. If you would like to subscribe to the pod cast, which means it will automatically be downloaded to your computer using apple iTunes, you need to open iTunes and then click on the link below. The pod cast will be downloaded and you can listen to it on your computer or put it on to your mp3 player.
