March is Youth Art Month

By Joni Fox

Art Department News:

Our school is a member of the East Central Nebraska Conference. Each year the conference hosts an art exhibit during March, “Youth Art Month”, the show features 10 art works from 10 schools. Johnson County Central High School art students were encouraged to submit their best art projects created during this school year. The top ten student works were chosen from over 100 items.  Johnson County Central school faculty, staff, administrators, and students were invited to serve as judges. The judges were asked to look for creativity, originality, and craftsmanship. I am pleased to announce the art students whose work will be representing Johnson County Central High School in the annual E.C.N.C. Art Exhibit. The conference art instructors award four students from each school merits of honor.

You are invited to the 2010 annual E.C.N.C. Student Art Exhibit

The show is on display in the Wells Fargo Bank lobby,

Downtown Lincoln, 13th and P Street, from February 26th – March 24th.

The ATM & lobby hours are 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.
