NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY INDUCTS NEW MEMBERS AND HONORS SENIORS:
The Johnson County Central Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 9 new members at the National Honor Society Induction Banquet on Thursday, March 15, 2012.
National Honor Society President Zachary welcomed everyone to the induction evening. Following a delicious potluck dinner, Lori Balke, Southeast Community College representative, gave an inspirational talk to the group about scholarship, service, leadership and character.
New members inducted were juniors, Mackenzie Faris and Ethan Fricke, and sophomores, Grant Badertscher, Lauren Klaasmeyer, Alyssa Mehnert, Tiffany Neukirch, Michaela Pooch, Tyler Speckmann, and Leah Tubbesing . Each new inductee signed a chapter pledge, and received National Honor Society pin, certificate and patch. Congratulations to these new members!
Mrs. Moles recognized seniors members, Chelsea Borrenpohl, Laura Dieckgrafe, Shawnee Johns, Zachary Kaster, Layne Kettelhake, Anna Kuhl, Emily Little, and Shelby Strubel, by presenting them an honor cord to wear at graduation.
President Zachary Kaster thanked everyone for their attendance and congratulated new members. Pictures followed.
