The Johnson Country Central Cross Country has qualified for state! Sam Saldivar, District Champion, and the Girls Team, District Runner-Up, will compete at the Cross Country Championship in Kearney. The girls team runners include Aleisha McDonald, Angelica Wellman, Annika McDonald, Jordan Rodriquez, Erin Hunzeker and Sarai Ares. Come out and cheer on the Thunderbirds!
The NSAA Cross Country Championships will be held at the Kearney Country Club on October 23, 2015. The approximate starting times are listed below:

| Girls Class C—12:00 Noon | Girls Class D—2:00 pm |
| Girls Class A—12:30 pm | Girls Class B—2:30 pm |
| Boys Class C—1:00 pm | Boys Class D—3:00 pm |
| Boys Class A—1:30 pm | Boys Class B—3:30 pm |
