Earth Science

January 20, 2016

By Mrs. Tubbesing

The fifth graders studied Earth science during the second quarter. They are currently reviewing and testing on all the Earth science skills they learned. The last week in January the fifth grade students will begin working on physical science and preparing for the NESA science test in April.

The pictures show the fifth graders working on stream tables. This activity helped them make landforms and view first hand the effects of weathering and erosion. The students also observed deposition, delta, drainage basins, and flood plains.
