¡Hola de la clase de español!

The students have been great this year. They’ve had to speak more Spanish this year than I believe they had ever thought possible.
In Spanish I their last project of the 4th quarter was to create a video about any topic they chose, as long as they met the vocab and grammar requirements. I received the scripts over the weekend and those have plenty of creativity!
In Spanish II they completed 2 projects over the past 2 weeks. The first involved them presenting research of basic cultural activities; for the second they read a children’s book and recreated what happened. We’ll watch those this week.
For Spanish III and IV, I had many seniors. To wrap up with the one student, she’s been reading a story of which she’ll complete a report, then we’ll watch the movie based on the book. After, she’ll do a short comparison writing of the book and the movie.
During the summer, I can only hope that they’ll glance at their flashcards once in a blue moon. But like I said, I can only hope!
