FBLA’s 2016-17 Competition Season

JCC FBLA’s 2016-17 competition season is upon us. On Wednesday, February 1, 2017, 13 FBLA students competed at the UNL American Business Contest. There were over 400 students from 31 different schools competing. Our students represented JCC well and earned the following honors (see below). In addition to the individual honors, our JCC FBLA Quiz Bowl team placed in the final four.

On Wednesday, February 15, 17 of our members will travel to Peru State College for their annual business contest. Students will compete in a variety of events at this contest, as well.
Finally, on April 6-8th, 13 of our top members will compete at the State Leadership Conference in Omaha. This event annually hosts over 2500 Nebraska FBLA students and is a culmination of the hard work and dedication that our students put in throughout the year.
