2022-23 School Year

For the 2022-23 school year, the JCC Drama Department performed Fighting Demons by Angela Hill. They held their public performance on Friday, November 18th at 7:00 p.m. at the elementary auditorium in Tecumseh.

The play tells the story of 10 teenagers who find themselves trapped and fighting their own demons. The teens must choose whether to stay trapped or fight their way to freedom. This play does contain some adult content so viewer discretion for younger audiences is advised.

On Wednesday, November 30th, 2022, JCC traveled to Geneva for their district competition. The competition was tough and the crew gave a very powerful performance that impressed the audience attending and the judges. At the end of the day, JCC ended up placing 5th out of 8 schools. The tech crew earned 3rd place from the tech judge. JCC also had 11 students earn outstanding performance awards. 2016-17 School Year

The Johnson County Central High School presents "You're Driving Me Crazy" by Todd Walligner. It consists of four short plays about eager potential drivers facing the challenge of meeting the expectations of the driving examiner. One driver brings along her entire family to cheer her on and another driver must take the road test with his ex-girlfriend. I’m truly excited to see our student actors shine in this play! Please come and cheer on the JCC drama team at the competitions! We would love to see you there!
