The Johnson County Central Chearleaders won the Class C1 Spirit Award at the 2016 Nebraska State Cheer & Dance Championships in Grand Island on Friday, Feb. 19, 2016. This is the 5th time that JCC has won the State Spirit Award for their class. This award is based on spirit/sportsmanship and is voted on by the coaches.
Members of the 2015-16 JCC Chearleaders include: Ashleigh Kapke, Hollie Gartner, Paige Kraus, Macee North, Meagan Schultz, Kaitlyn Miller and Alysa Kapke. This year's sponsor is Devon Roesener.
The 2016 Spirit Award continues JCC's excellent history of receiving this award.
