Title 1 Annual Meeting & Pumpkin Night

On Friday, September 22, 2017 Johnson County Central held its annual meeting and pumpkin decorating night. Parents and students were invited to attend the annual meeting held in the high school cafeteria to find out details about the Title 1 Program offered at the school from Grades K through 8. After the meeting, both students’ and parents’ hands were stamped to allow them free access to that evening’s football game.
Students, along with their parents, proceeded to the playground where each student was given a pumpkin to decorate and take home. Each student chose the artistic decorations they wanted to make their pumpkin special and appealing to them. After the pumpkins were decorated, refreshments of hot dogs, chips, and pop were enjoyed before the football game began.
