Completion of 2026 JCC High School Renovations

The start of school for JCC will be on schedule as renovations to the high school are wrapping up. The HVAC systems have been installed and are undergoing final checks. The fire sprinkler systems have been installed along with the fire alarm system. Ceiling tiles have been replaced and cleaning of the building is underway. However, when school starts on Monday, August 10, students and staff will not have access to the lower level of the high school. Renovations to the Johnson County Central High School are underway! After a month of demolition, the crews have started installing ductwork for the HVAC system and finishing the pipework for the fire suppression (sprinkler) system. This is part of a $2.8 million dollar project to update the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) system.
