2024-25 School Calendar & School Day

The 2024-2025 school calendar has been approved as well as the hours of operation. The following are some notes and numbers on next year’s school days and calendar:

School Day
» High School: 8:00 AM ‒ 4:00 PM
» Middle School: 8:00 AM ‒ 3:55 PM
» Elementary: 8:00 AM ‒ 3:50 PM
* Breakfast starts at 7:15 AM.
* AM shuttles leave at approximately 7:35 AM.
* PM shuttles would return to each site at approximately 4:15 PM.
Student Days
• 154 (152 full days, one 3 hour day, one 4.5 hour day)
• August 12 (first day of school) is a 1:00 PM dismissal.
• May 22 (last day of school) is an 11:00 AM dismissal.
Student Hours
» High School (8:00 AM- 4:00 PM) = 7.5 hours*
» Middle School (8:00 AM - 3:55 PM) = 7.42 hours*
» Elementary (8:00 AM - 3:50 PM) = 7.33 hours*
» *0.5 hours has been subtracted from each day for lunch.
Total Student Hours
» High School = 1,147.5 hours (1,080 hours are required)

‣ Current school year is 1,157.55 hours
» Middle School = 1,132.3 (1,080 hours are required)
‣ 7.5 days over requirement
‣ Current school year is 1,141.05 hours
» Elementary = 1,117.1 hours (1,032 hours are required)

* Note that there are three (3) flex days in the event that they are needed to meet student hours due to extenuating circumstances such as excessive weather related cancellations:
