The Johnson County Central Girls Basketball Team will be hosting a Girls Basketball Youth Camp on May 24th-27th, 2022.  The camp will be in the High School Gym in Tecumseh. Through the American Rescue Plane (ARP) and Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER), Johnson County Central is allocated to receive $784,461 in federal funds to address the needs of students, their safe return to school and loss of learning that may have occurred during the COVID pandemic. HOSA is selling T-shirts to help raise money for an adapted bike for Flo, daughter of Daisy our high school secretary. The bike that they are looking at for Flo will help compensate for her balance problems, which make it impossible for her to ride a regular bicycle. This sort of adapted bicycle is quite expensive (around $1750), thus the fundraiser. Hello Everyone! The K-3 students have physical education every day. Studies show that it is good for the students to get exercise every day as it helps students improve their academics. I give the kids homework every weekend to get outside and play. They tell me I give the best homework! The students go through daily exercises and I choose a different student every day to lead them through those exercises that include push-ups, sit ups, grasshoppers, heel touches and jumping jacks. School Improvement - School Accreditation

Johnson County Central Public Schools will host a Monstrous Scholastic Book Fair on October 26-30, 2015 in the Elementary Library and the Middle School Library.
