2026 JCC Homecoming Week

You are invited to help us celebrate the 20th edition of Homecoming at Johnson County Central the week of Sunday, September 13th, 2026, through Friday, September 18th, 2026!
This year's homecoming theme is "Viva Las Vegas."
Kick off the week at the Community Tailgate, Pep Rally, & Bonfire at the High School Football Field. Join us for activities, food from The Grain Bin, and the annual lighting of the bonfire. The event begins at 6 PM on Sunday, September 13th, with the lighting of the bonfire happening at dusk.
Students and staff can celebrate all week with the Spirit Week Dress Up Days Tuesday through Friday! On Friday, JCC will have the annual Homecoming Parade around the square, finishing with the Pep Rally at the football field.
Then help cheer on the Thunderbirds as JCC hosts Conestoga on Friday evening, kickoff at 7 PM. The Coronation of this year's King & Queen will follow the game, with the week concluding with the high school Homecoming Dance.
The JCC Booster Club invites everyone to a 5th Quarter at El Mariachi Mexican Grill (366 Broadway St) following the game.

Wednesday, Sept 16th: Glitz & Glam
• Show up in sparkles, glitter, or dressy attire. Think lights of Vegas!
Thursday, Sept 17th: Zoom Attire
• Flashback to COVID - where people zoomed (business up top, casual on the bottum)
Friday, Sept 18th: JCC Spirit & Parade Day
• Wear your Thunderbird gear & show your school spirit! Dress in Red, Black, & Gold!
• Parade Day - Starts at 2:30 PM
- Starts at school, will loop around the square downtown, & finish at the football field for the Pep Rally!
- Pep Rally will begin at approximately 3 PM
• Football vs Conestoga - 7 PM - Homecoming Coronation to follow the game
• Homecoming Dance
• JCC Booster Club 5th Quarter - following the game at the El Mariachi Mexican Grill*
