Music Videos & All-State Auditions

Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe sixth grade choir has started working on their music videos. I started this project with the sixth graders last year and it turned out to be a great project for them during this down time in January. We have a number of different groups using a various genres of music; everything from classic rock to hip hop. The students really get to open up their creative abilities with this project and I hope to continue it in the future.
Many students at the high school and middle school level have been auditioning for Class C All-State Band. This year marks the first year that Class C has opened up auditions at the 7th/8th grade level for a middle school ensemble. All Class C All-State ensembles will perform in Kearney on Saturday, March 19th. Students have also been chosen to participate in our ECNC Honor Band which will take place on May 9th.
