More Ways to Read Books!

September 08, 2014

We have expanded our wonderful high school library and now have e-books available through the ESU #2 E-book Consortium. High School students and teachers will be able to check out e-books on their iPads. After one to two weeks, depending on the book, the book will disappear off the device and then more can be checked out. This is a great opportunity we are able to provide for our advanced, at-risk, and avid young readers.

Most of the e-books are fiction but, there are some nonfiction as well. We will continue to provide some nonfiction printed books in our library for research sources. High School students and teachers will begin registration and training soon. We all know how important it is to read for information but it is equally important to read for pleasure. All high school students are given the opportunity to read during the school day. This will give the students the opportunity to download books for free instead having to purchase them through the iBook app.
