Basketball Protocols (PDF) - as of 11/30/2020

Thunderbird Family,

As our winter activities get started we wanted to reach out and remind you that our priority at Johnson County Central is to provide a safe & positive atmosphere where our students can compete and experience high school sports & activities. In addition, we want our families to share in the experience as much as possible. Please be flexible with us as things will be changing for both home and away events. We will do our best to keep you up to date as protocols change. The NSAA is requiring all non-active participants, spectators, and coaches to wear a face-covering at all times.

As of now, these are our Game Day Protocols for home basketball games. These protocols have been created with guidance from the Southeast District Health Department. Please note that these may change in accordance with our local health department.

High School Basketball Game Schedule (unless otherwise noted):

  • JV Boys @ 4:30 PM @ Cook Site (MS Gym)
  • JV Girls @ 4:30 PM @ Tecumseh Site (HS Gym)
  • Girls Varsity @ 6:00 PM @ Tecumseh Site (HS Gym)
  • Boys Varsity @ 7:45 PM @ Tecumseh Site (HS Gym)

All spectators are required to only attend game(s) for the team they are on the pass list for (ie - boys JV parents are not permitted to attend the girls varsity game). Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes prior to tipoff. Fans are expected to leave at the conclusion of each game.

All fans are encouraged to check out the JCC Striv live streaming channel on striv.tv/jcc. We will attempt to live stream as many events as possible.

Sincerely,

Garrett Collin
Activities Director, Johnson County Central High School
